what a wonderful sky!
did you trick-or-treat last night?

In Italy people have been kind of celebrating halloween in the last few years. but it is not yet part of our cultural background.

take care.

Thanks! I was amazed when I looked out the window. It was gone so fast!

We didn't do much this year, because we were both exhausted. Did you do anything fun?

I wrote a longer comment, but something happened and it got lost...
uff...
anyway, I did nothing special for Halloween, I still don't feel it as a festival belonging to us (I mean Italians) even if supermarkets are selling lots of Halloween gadgets. It is still too fake here, but I wish I could see how it really goes there with all children trick-or-treating and the beautiful pumpkins you make.
I'm still waiting for the Big Pumpkin to come ;-)))
cheers

Perhaps someday you will get to visit the states, and you'll see how we do Halloween (and perhaps the Big Pumpkin ;)! There are some amazing carved pumpkins out there, too- you're right. I don't have the best technique for that, but it IS fun to carve them regardless.

Halloween doesn't feel quite the same as it did when I was younger (though I think everyone says that about something), but it's still a fun holiday!
